Sample. There are 5,386 data points overall in the daily series shown in the figure above. The series covers the time span stretching from September 2004 to September 2025.
History. Here's a snapshot of some simple statistics we computed on the entire sample: the forward rate hit a peak of 6.30 percent on 15 November 2011; it recorded a bottom of 0.88 on 11 March 2020; it was equal on average to 3.54.
