According to the Commitments of Traders (COT) reports published by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), short positions held by asset managers in 10-year Treasury futures of the kind "UST 10Y NOTE - CHICAGO BOARD OF TRADE" were 874,891 contracts on 17 February 2026, versus 911,771 on 10 February.
